The StoryLine Project is possible thanks to the dedication and effort of many talented individuals. Through their volunteer efforts, StoryLine is able to help people feel connected to each other through the emotional power of story.

StoryLine Steering Committee

This group directs StoryLine and its committees.  It serves as the decision-making body and approves recommendations made by the subcommittees.

Facilitator Training/Storytelling Experience

This group designs the storytelling experience inside the story bus, and creates the facilitator recruitment plan, training module and all materials. They also go into the community with the Story Bus to facilitate the conversations that are being recorded.  Drivers and greeters are part of this team. 

Diversity Outreach/Collection of Stories

This group organizes the story bus travel schedule. They plan how and where stories are collected in the community (neighborhoods, organizations, events, etc.) and what groups we work with to ensure success. They also are involved in an outreach effort to gather feedback from groups we are trying to reach, especially those with sensitivities that may require special recruitment efforts (Hispanic, lower income neighborhoods, homeless population, etc.).

Marketing/Distribution of Stories

This group arranges the distribution of the stories throughout the community (media outlets, community listening events, etc.). They also develop and execute plans for the marketing and promotion of the project itself.
