Brenda Taylor (right) talks with Amatullah Saleem, professional dancer and co-founder of local story-telling group A String of Pearls. A native of Winston-Salem, Amatullah went to live with her mother in Harlem in the mid 40’s when she was twelve years old. Submersed in a cultural Mecca of arts and entertainment, Amatullah found her calling at the Katherine Dunham School of Dance.

Ms. Dorothy Johnson, described by some as the Rosa Parks of Green Street United Methodist Church, talks with the church's Pastor, Kelly Carpenter.
