The multi-talented Geno Segers talks with Troy Lambert (right), Head Coach at East Forsyth High School. A Winston-Salem native, Mr. Segers is a former East Forsyth wrestler and football player whose athletic success took him international. Later in life, his unique bass voice led him to a career in radio, stage and TV where he landed a leading role in the Disney series “Pair of Kings”. More recently, Mr. Segers created the Hold it on the Road Foundation, which focuses on motivating and guiding today’s youth. Also pictured is Kevin Mosley (left).

Bridgett Williams, Program Coordinator and Tutor with the Winston-Salem YMCA Literacy Initiative, talks with her student, José Rodríguez. Jose migrated from Puerto Rico to the continental US in the 1980s. In 2010, he enrolled in the YMCA’s literacy program and, today, shares the many ways in which that decision has changed his life.

Today, Kelli and Wells talk about living with CF and their efforts to create community awareness around a disease which receives relatively little research funding.
