The tragic loss of Beryl Mankin’s son, Jonathan, to a car accident in 1994, caused her to question her purpose in life and moved her to a career of volunteerism and community outreach. In 2006, Beryl founded “Jonathan’s Legacies - Readings for Re-entry”, a program supporting prisoners transitioning to freedom. She talks with Pastor Kelly Carpenter of Green Street United Methodist Church.
